Tendering in Belize City

Recommended Posts

I will be on LOS at the end of the month and we arrive in Belize City at 9AM. I have also purchased an excursion (via RCCL) that starts at 9AM. Since this is a tendering port, do booked excursion guests get tender priority?

It's been a while since we were in Belize but as I recall, yes we were given priority to tender since we were booked on an RCCL excursion.

I seem to remember them having all the excursion people meet in the theater and them taking us off by excursion.

Have fun.

Hit it exactly. Just FYI...your 9am tour will probably involve some standing around....making sur ethey pick up any folks delayed. Belize is a tender port the barrier reek that stretches the length of the nation. They have then tender thing down pat!

Agree with the above posters - just be aware that it is a long tender - don't remember how long the ride was, but it was much longer than other ports. Also, we were fine, but many of the people on our tender were seasick - it was not a pleasant ride! Go easy on breakfast!

I would probably be the first one to get sick in a small boat, although never on a ship, but we thought the tender ride to be nice, as the boat is much faster than one at , say, Cayman. It can be a little tricky getting onboard from the ship , as the tender is moving a lot..I would bet you will enjoy the ride.

Hi,

Yes. Your tour will gather in Studio B or the theater...time is printed on your ticket.

They board the tours according to distance from Belize City....furthest ones

first....you will be given numbered stickers to put on shirt.

The tenders hold about 250 people, it is a 40 minute ride or so.

The people not using a ship tour will form a line in the Art Gallery on deck 3.

They proceed to another tender.

Refer to your tickets, they have info on when and where to meet.

Other than the formality, time, the process is painless....need sea pass,

picture ID, and Ticket...

Have fun.
