Tampa to airport - end of cruise tour

I'm trying to find a tour at the end of my cruise which would include a transfer to the airport. My flight doesn't leave until around 5 (but I have to be at the airport by 3) and we get off the ship very early. The cruise line's tour is lame. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find any searching online.

You can spend a few hours at the aquarium, which is right between Terminals 2 and 3. They will store your luggage for free while you are there.

Avis and Hertz (and maybe Enterprise) have locations close to the port - rent a car for the day, put your bags in the trunk and then go where you want. Check out St. Pete and the Clearwater beaches, grab some lunch and then head to TPA
