Pride of america in December -Need to know what to expect

We are planning the first week in december but read Hawaii weather can be rainy season? what has been the experience with rain and temperatures? Is it likely to be rough weather at night because of the time of year? Would like to hear experiences.. thanks

We cruised December 2015. The weather was fine, except for a few short showers. But you get those in Hawaii year-round. The seas were calm. Enjoy the cruise!

We cruised on the POA this past Christmas. Weather in Honolulu was in the 80's and mostly sunny, with one afternoon shower. We also had great weather (80's) on all the islands, with little if any rain. We packed ponchos each day just in case, and never used them. Seas were fine - did not need the bonine we packed.

Sailed the first week of December last year, my ninth time over. It was alittle rainer then any other time I have been there. But it was still great. Just go and enjoy.:D

We sailed over Christmas 2013 and New Years 2014 and I woke up in the middle of the night between Kona and Kauai. The bed was rocking side to side so much I was afraid to try to make it to the restroom. Other than that night, no problems. It rained our second day in Kauai, with the sun still shining, still warm and beautiful. :)
