Beaches

Sorry if this has been asked already but looking for a nice beach to go to for a few hours....any suggestions?

Don't know if you are familiar with Belize, but in order to get to any beach you will have to take a separate excursion or trip out to one of the barrier islands away from Belize City etc.

If you don't want to pay the $$$ for one of your cruise company's excursions, look into Coral Breeze Tours. They operate right out of the tourism village in Belize City that you tender to, and offer just boat trips to and from the Cayes.

To get to a nice beach you'll need to either take an excursion with the ship or a private vendor.

We'd like to go to a place like Caye Caulker,but the 45 min boat ride is a deal breaker. Is there another Caye that's similar to Caulker but closer?
