Document checks...

So, curiosity has gotten the better of me...

Does anyone know what system Princess uses to verify document requirements for their cruises?

For example, airlines use Timitac, which gives the the check-in people the list of necessary documents for said flight..

What does Princess use? Same system? Something else? Simple curiosity, that's all.

Thanks, to anyone who may know..

There seems to be little consistency - when travelling Transatlantic to the US and producing a non US passport I have sometimes been asked at Princess checkin for an ESTA and / or return flight ticket - and sometimes not.

So I have no idea if they have any system at all
