Placencia Village

For the most recent visitors to Placencia from Harvest Caye where is the dock located in relation to the village area? Any restaurant recommendations, local shops, etc? On Tripadvisor Wendy's Restaurant & Bar gets good reviews it's near the end of the peninsula. Obviously looking for something close to the dock due to the 3 hour limit.........

The entire village of Placencia is only a couple of hundred yards long... You will have plenty of time to eat and sight see in three hours. I took the very first ferry over on May 30th when they first allowed passengers to leave the private island. There is basically one road that goes North to South, as well as a sidewalk that runs the length of the village closer to the beach. I was just happy to be able to escape NCL's private island and experience some real Belizean culture...
