Cruisegirl6 Posted August 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Hello, We will be going to Cuba in two and half weeks and this is all new for us. I read that we are allowed to take home $100 worth of cuban cigars per person is this true, and do we have to declare them, if so, how do we get the forms (last two cruises RC did away with the custom forms) and should we carry off the ship when we are back to the US or put them in our checked luggage? You are allowed 100 cigars not $100 worth. You should only have to declare if you go over the limit. We were not even asked. mdsgu Posted August 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2018 Went through Customs going and coming in Cuba. No one asked us anything. Once on the ship, we had to go through security where I voluntarily disclosed the rum I had bought, and they let me take it to my cabin. Once back in Tampa, we went through US customs; they didn't ask us anything, and I didn't volunteer anything, either!
