srbbeachbum Posted March 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Has anyone stayed in room 311 on the Lido Deck. It was the only balcony left. We are wondering if we are going to have a lot of foot traffic passing our room to get to the grills, pools, etc. Joan
JF - retired RRT Posted March 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Just thought I'd give my 2 cents for this question. I've never stayed in that area, but it looks great to me. We do walk through there all the time. Usually very few walking in the hall. I think most go to the mid-ship elevators. One thing to keep in mind...for some reason those halls are often like wind tunnels. I think it's because the doors that exit out to the pool are usually open and at least one (& probably more than one) seem to think it's OK to leave the balcony slider open. WHOOSH!!!
flamomo Posted March 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2018 I love that area of the ship and have stayed in cabins there several times. It's quiet, it's convenient to the open deck, the forward elevators are often less busy than those at mid-ship and aft (except after muster drill is over and EVERYONE seems to be trying to get on all of the elevators), and IMO it's just a nice walk thru the open deck to get to the Horizon Court.
