cole'snana Posted December 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2015 If I get cash at the Casino can it be applied to OBC with a 5% service fee? (That's the way it's done on Royal C)

(That's the way it's done on Royal C) If you use your room key card to 'purchase' credit, from a slot machine in the casino. the purchase gets charged to your on board account with NO service charge. If you 'buy' cash from the window in the casino, there is a service charge. Many people charge the credit on the key card, play a few slot pulls, then cash out at the window for extra cash with no service charge. At least it was this was this way a few months ago. Since we normally play a little anyway in the casino, we just charge to our cabin our slot and even poker tournament fees and it just comes off our OBC without a fee. If we win, we cashout that evening without a problem. We just did this last week. Edited December 23, 2015 by DaveOKC
KirkNC Posted December 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 24, 2015 I think it is a 3% fee (unless they raised it recently).
Rare Crew News Posted December 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 24, 2015 I think it is a 3% fee (unless they raised it recently). It was 3% last month on the Oosterdam.
Rockfan2 Posted January 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Just off the Zuiderdam and were very surprised that we could get cash on our card at the table with no fee. It used to be 3%. Rockfan2

Rockfan2 It is 3% if you get the cash at the Front Desk but free at the Casino.
