"Considering Seabourn Pride"....same questions for Sojourn

Interesting questions concerning the Pride, how much would the answers change for the Sojourn, or another of the larger ships? The questions as presented in the other thread---

Dining rooms--If we are willing to be flexible about meal times, is it difficult to always get a table for two....breakfast, lunch, and dinner?? For us, vacations are time for the two of us.

Sea days--we usually walk endless laps on deck, enjoying the sea, scenery, and audio books. Is there any space on such a small ship, specifically the Pride, to accommodate this?

thanks

Suffice it to say that the larger 3 ships have about 3x the space for 2x as many passengers than the "lil sisters".

To see for yourself, look at photos of the larger ships' Colonnade and Restaurant vs the Veranda and Restaurant of the small ships. The restaurants are not only much much larger but the serving areas are more generous making for more diner choice. Oh, and there are many more tables for 2. Just go a bit earlier than most and there will seldom be an issue.

The same applies for walking on deck. The small ships have the deck above the small pool. The larger ships have that area, another area that's shady on deck 5, and 2 pools (one of which is very small- on deck 5).

Options for sun or "shade" bathing are also far more generous and varied on the larger ships as the deck plan shows- deck 5 and 11 type areas are unique to them. That responds to your interest in enjoying the sea, audio/reading.

Happy sailing!

Completely agree with Markham - I hope Mountainduo also read this, as I have to say that for a couple who like to spend some of their time alone together - in particular at meal times - the larger ships have many recommendations.
