Casino Cocktails

I'll be sailing again in 8 days and I can't wait!! I spent a good amount of time on my last cruise in the casino. Not because I was winning however! Just good fun. I had ordered a couple of drinks at the casino bar and had nice conversation with a couple of fellow cruisers. They had casually mentioned, that whenever they wanted a cocktail, no matter where they were on the ship, they always came to the casino bar. Their reason being, the bartenders were more generous with their pour and made stronger drinks. I never really noticed the difference, but they seemed pretty sure of this because stronger drinks loosen up gamblers to spend more money. (True) So they felt they were getting a bigger bang for their buck in the casino. Any truth to heavy handed casino bartenders I am wondering?

The story sounds nice but getting to reality now.. The pour is precise and counted.

The staff does nbenefit at the Casino Bar a lot as tips are given more freely , so yes in some ways the tenders do increase the Gratis drinks .

But on the oppisite end. On the QM2 we had the well we called the Wicked Witch .. she had the worst mixology in drinks I ever had anywhere even shorted me a few times on a Double Jack clean up.

One thing on that ship line too ythey charge for mixes .. eg: Double Jack and coke is two charges.. etc..etc..

So it really depends upon the tender of the drinks ..

I disagree respectfully....  On my most recent experience on RCCL Liberty of the Seas, the bartenders were consistently pouring the drinks much stronger in the casino.  On more than one occasion,  I needed the bartender to put more soda into the drink so I could actually enjoy it.  This was not the case anywhere else on the ship.

This has been my experience on my most recent trip.

I would have to have them pour less alcohol as well.  Don't like to boozy taste
