Evening stop in Victoria--what to do?

Hello all--

We were planning on visiting the Butchart Gardens on our upcoming cruise, but have just checked their website and see that they close at 6pm! Curses! Our cruise arrives at 6pm.

Any suggestions on what else to do? We are traveling with two kids--who are aged 2 and 4. Also--what time is sunset the first week in June?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You wold probably enjoy one of the horse-drawn carraige tours of the city. They

meet all the arriving ships and give a nice overvview with commentary. You would

see the Parliament Buildings, Empress Hotel, Beacon Hill Park, etc.

Sunset will be fairly late - about 9:15 but light until 10PM at least.

Hi, I lived in Victoria for two years , around the area there is a butterfly place that I know the children would love as well as the Musem is there, the horse carriage is a lovely ride there is so much to do I am sure all of you will love Victoria, Have Fun and a Happy Cruise.

I would double check on Butcharts because if there is a cruise ship in town, chances are they will stay open. Your ship will most likely have a tour of the gardens which I would recommend in order to ensure that you make it back in time for departure.
