What do you blend?

I keep reading about bringing a blender to make smoothies. Where do you get the stuff to make the smoothies on board?

You can pick up fruit from the buffet, along with yogurt, milk, and soft ice cream. Ice can be provided by the stateroom attendant. Extras can be added (like alcohol.) Me? I"ll buy mine onboard. I don't feel like lugging a blender across the country and then having to mix drinks for everyone. I'm on vacation. :D

I'd rather pay for my drinks than lug a blender through the airport!

I have brought a hand stick blender onboard to make protein shakes. It worked well. I dont think I would want to bring a huge blender tho.

Well, I'd like to bring my blender but it won't fit in the luggage with my waffle iron and pasta maker...oh, well....guess I'll just have to rought it ! !

But what about those mini blenders? they fit in the palm of your hand; smaller than most womens' cosmetic bags :)

Oh well thats different. In that case I will buy one and take it and hopefully can find a mini-Vacuum cleaner and a mini-garbage disposal as well to lug along with me. I mean whats the use of going on vacation unless you can take everything with you.

Personally I think it is more trouble than it is worth
