Tampa hotel help

Recommended Posts

We are cruising from Tampa in Feb- and would like to fly in the day before.

Any suggestions where to stay, and better yet, what to offer on priceline?

Looking for perhaps a 3 star, not to far from the port, but maybe near shopping or restaurants. Thanks

We got the Wyndham Westshore on priceline for 65.00 Feb 10th with tax and fees it was 80.57 I started my bidding at 45.00 and rasied 5.00 each time i rebid. I think if you wait a little longer they may get more inventory.

Its across the street from Westshore Plaza shopping mall. plenty of resturants and shopping.

Good luck

Hi Sundaz,

We're sailing put of Tampa on Feb. 20. We on the same ship?LOL I'm looking for lodging that shuttles to the port and allows us to leave our car in their lot. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on Dale Mabry last January. For $114 we had lodging for 4 people, parked our car for a week, shuttle to and from the port and breakfast. The price I find for the same this year is $148 for two people. All we need is a clean, safe place to sleep the night before we sail so if anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.

We stayed at the Springhill Suites in Nov. 2005. It is a very nice hotel, near a mall. Transportation provided from airport to hotel, but not to the pier. Continental breakfast which was very good and filling for eary morning. Price was good. We would stay again.

Yep, that's the one we're on. Grandeur, departing 2/20/2006. Now if I could find somewhere to stay the night before we sail....

Has anyone stayed at the Days Inn - Rocky Point (Tampa)? I stayed there about 3 years ago and we loved it. They picked us up from the airport and took us to the pier. The "Green Iguana" Restaurant was awesome!

I heard that the hotel underwent some renovation recently. Would anyone know anything about this?

Thanks.
