When i was on the Norwegian Star they had a small haunted house that was for the passengers. it was alot of fun and there was obviously alot of effort put in by the cruise staff and the crew. i think they even had to replace the carpet because of all the silly string and slime they used. dont know about the other ships though.

I was on Golden Princess on Halloween two years ago, but it coincided with Formal Night, so there wasn't much costume action. There were a few, though, including among the crew.

I have been on several Halloween cruises, different cruise lines. Probably about 15-20% of ship dressed in costume. My crazy hubby went Trick or Treating to random rooms and most times was just met with laughter. However, some folks put goodies in his bag...gum, shampoo, etc. It was all fun.

Halloween fell during our transatlantic cruise last fall. Celebrity held a Halloween party after late seating complete with a costume contest.

Dress for the evening was informal or Halloween costume.

We bought costumes from a Halloween shop - a little bag that included everything we needed - took up less room than a pair of shorts outfit - went as Julius Ceasar and Cleopatra. I had the black Cleo wig from a previous costume rental. The costume was perfect as we could wear our sandals and didn't have to bring a special pair of shoes.
