"Expert" opinions please!!

I will be going to Tortola on the Zuiderdam at the end of November. I have never been to Tortola before. What are the opinions of those of you that have been there, done that? Would you do an excursion of Tortola and go to the beaches or go to Virgin Gorda and do the Baths? We are not much for sitting on a bus/taxi and touring the island, nor are we big shoppers, we are more of the beach/snorkeling type of people. What are your suggestions?:o

The Baths are nice for a combo beach/snorkel.

If you can't get there, you might try for The Indians near Norman Island. Great snorkeling but no beach, if that is a requirement.
