P&O have admitted they are in negotiations to sell Artemis ,just hope its NOT Fred.:eek:

Why do you say that? I have no knowledge of Artemis, is it not a nice ship?

Fred. was the first name that came into my head when I heard Artemis was possibly being sold - she's a little larger than Balmoral & would need a major refurb (adding single cabins etc), stranger things have happened at sea though if you pardon the pun :D

 

One ship though that FOCL would be very likely to purchase, if she came on the market, is the Prinsendam, currently with Holland America & originally the Royal Viking Sun. Nigel Lingard, MD of FOCL, has previously said that she would be a very good fit in the Fred. fleet.

After spending a month on the ship about 2 years ago ,its an experience I wouldn,t want to repeat ,the list of problems is too long to put on here.:eek:

She's a beautiful ship, and with the loss of QE2, is currently my favourite! I just hope she is not sold at all.:(

I have heard she is definitely going to Phoenix at the end of her Asian voyage in 2011.:):)

There are still lots of rumours flying about. I expect she will go in the end, but it will probably signal the end of my P&O crsuiing days.
