Getts Posted October 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Could anyone please tell me what type of windows are in the G and GG categories? In some pictures it seemed as if the windows were floor to ceiling but there were lifeboats right outside! Thanks

It is Floor to Ceiling with a lifeboat outside. Sprocket Posted October 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2009 I had a GG on the Westerdam, and it did indeed have a floor to ceiling window. And yes there was a life boat right outside, but I got tons of light, a bit of a view and I would happily book that catagory of cabin again. I believe I read the G's are partially obstructed so you may find your window is between the lifeboats, someone that has sailed in one I'm sure will elaborate on this for you. kingart55 Posted October 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2009 We had a G cabin on the Noordam. Actually it was the same cabin on a 10 day Caribbean out of NY and a 20 day Med. We had a great view from cabin 4091. It was only partially blocked with the end of the lifeboat on the left looking out. We have a similar cabin on our T/A crossing on the Westerdam
