Port Everglades Parking

How much is it to park at Port Everglades? We have members of our group who are looking at driving instead of flying and they want to know the cost comparison to driving halfway, getting a hotel room, then finishing the drive vs. flying in.

Right in the port, across the driveway from the Princess pier, the parking is $12 a day. They take credit cards as well as cash. There are also other less expensive parking out of the port area but I've never used them.

The parking garage at the pier charges $12 a day for parking and it is obviously very convenient. However, there is a parking lot just outside the

ebtrance to the pier area that charges $7.50 a day and they provide

shuttle service to and from the ship. Check them out at http://www.parknfly.com

and I do believe that they will take reservations.;)

We always drive, but have found that Princess ships some time leave from one pier and return to another. This year we are going to park at Continental Parking at 2125 S. Federal Hwy. They have covered parking @$6.oo a day and offer valet shuttle 24 hours a day. Just give them a call at 800-327-3791 when you get your luggage and they will promptly pick you up. website is http://www.bnm.com/flor

Or, for the price of one night in a hotel before the cruise, they can leave their car at the hotel for 10 days. Amerisuites 17th street and several others provide this service including a shuttle to the port; only cost is a taxi back to pick up the car. A room at the Amerisuites can vary from around $69-93 depending on season. There are other hotels who offer this service as well; you might do a search here for names.
