donutcop Posted October 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2009 I am sailing on November 29 on the Freedom and have an E2 hump cabin booked. I noticed that the difference between E2's and JS is $250/person. I'm half tempted to surprise my DH with a JS because he likes taking baths and there will be a tub in the JS. I'm wondering what people's opinions are of the price difference. Is this a good deal? Or should I just stick to the E2 we already have booked. I should mention that all the JS's available are either front of the ship on deck 9 or one is mid ship on deck 10.... Thanks!
cb at sea Posted October 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2009 I think it's a great deal, and a JS will be almost twice the size of the E! (E's are small!) We love deck 10, as it's only 1 flight to the pool---makes running back and forth to the cabin a breeze! Take the mid-ship deck 10!
SLCBoys Posted October 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Take the JS on deck 10 for sure. I've been in a JS on Freedom, very large compared to the E2, huge walk in closet, tons of storage, bathtub is huge and deep and a much bigger balcony. FreewayFortune Posted October 18, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2009 A few weeks ago I found a similiar price difference for the Liberty due to a residency rate. My choice was to upgrade because I was excited to get the JS and as an added bonus the extra cc is nice:)
