More Cabins on the Oasis than Thought??

Recommended Posts

It seems that RCL found out this week that there are four more cabins aboard the Oasis than had been on the plans! I guess we have finally gotten to the point that the ships are so large they now cannot keep up with the cabins! Now the ship has a capacity of 6,360 passengers - 5,408 double capacity. Now I have to wonder where those cabins are? When we get aboard will there be a "find the lost cabins game?" :D

This ship is soo large and looks soo beautiful. I cannot wait to get aboard!!!!:D

My understanding is that these are all interior cabins. They are spaces near other items that may or may not be needed to hold equipment such as air conditioning or storage. If they are able to fit things better then they are able to fill that extra space with more cabins. So most likely none of the cabins have moved but some of that white space may now be filled with cabins. I'm guessing the first few sailing will not have these filled as they were not known to be available.

As these are "extra" it would be good to see them used uniquely. Some thoughts that come to minds:

- used for charity

- novel/interesting/one-off interior design (ala Madonna Inn)

If they are indeed interior cabins and going with the Madonna Inn theme - the Cave Cabin comes to mind. How about the Crypt?

Okay, we need 2 more.
