Delayed/Lost Luggage question

We completed a Panama cruise on 21 Oct. Luggage was loaded on wrong ship and one suitcase still not returned. Supposedly the cruise line knows where it is and says it will be sent to us. What is the longest anyone has waited for something like this? I have insurance but would far rather have the new clothing purchased for my wife to make this (and more) cruise!:confused::confused:

 

This was our first cruise and it would have been wonderful except for the fact we had the clothes on our backs and little more for 10 days! Valuable packing lessons learned!

You have my sympathy! We've never had lost luggage, but I'm replying to this to get it back to the top of the page, where hopefully somebody who has had this happen will answer.
