ubish00 Posted November 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2009 We have specific places we want to see in Grenada and do not want to book a tour as they don't seem to have exactly what we want. We are thinking about hiring a taxi or renting a car. Does anyone have experience of hiring a taxi upon arrival to take them to several sites? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you
Valen9 Posted November 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2009 Granada has its own board in the Carribbean forum. You'll probably get better results asking there... though I believe there are already 3 threads in there about taxis.

Thank you There are plenty of reliable taxis at the port gate, vehicles are modern & well-maintained, drivers are friendly, trustworthy, know their island, know the importance of back-on-board time. Negotiate itinerary, timescale & price before you board, pay when you get back - its the norm. As a matter of interest, where are you planning to visit?
