Deck -10

Cabin # - 10195

Class – C2

Front Port, Central Park balcony

Bed near?– Closet, bathroom

Quiet Cabin – Quiet cabin.

Balcony View - overlooked Park Cafe. Looked down on the glass roof in CP, not really a great view, in my opinion.

Balcony Size? Normal or overs]ized for class?[/b - normal.

Was wind a problem? NO--we were overlooking CP.

Any specific problems with this cabin? We had a problem with our safe the first two days. First night, it was in the locked position, but open, had to call someone to unlock it. Then that night, after we locked it, I could not get it to unlock. This happened after my husband had gone to sleep. The safe then screeched for five minutes, an error message that woke H up. This happened twice more the next day. The lady who responded from housekeeping told us quite arrogantly that we must have put in the wrong #. Since the number we put in is the same # we use for our ATM, we were fairly certain we knew how to input four numbers. It took a call to guest services, who then referred us back to housekeeping, who then sent up the same arrogant woman, resulting in another call to guest services, who then sent up someone from security and engineering, as well as the arrogant woman, and it turned out all that was needed was a new battery. After they replaced the battery, we had no further problems.

Any other comments? No, this was a nice room, lots of storage space, bed very comfy.

sorry Jerzgirl99, no one has reported on your cabin yet. I'll appreciate a room report when you get back, and have a good trip. As to everyone else, if you've been on the Oasis, please contribute your cabin information as it will be a help to future Oasis and Allure cruisers.

PERFECT!!

Deck - 8

Cabin # - 8325

Class – Boardwalk with Balcony

Bed near?(balcony or bath) –Balcony

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) –

Not connecting

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– If the curtains were

open across the deck you could see in somewhat...(more so at night). It was not an issue for us..

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

Was wind a problem? No

Any specific problems with this cabin? None

Any other comments? This cabin is the third one in from the stern, you DO have and oceanview and you can watch the aqua show right from your balcony!!! The only time my sons heard noise was when the show was on, it really was not an issue!

Other than that it was quiet.

Deck - 14

Cabin # - 14722

Class – D6

Back Starboard

Bed near? bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – no problems

Balcony View - View on all Deck 14 Balconies are a bit obstructed due to the overhang of Deck 15 goes out about 6ft from edge of balcony. This only cuts off your view of the night sky.

Balcony Size? Balcony was standard size for the Oasis, but seemed a bit larger than most other balconies I have been on.

Was wind a problem? no

Any specific problems with this cabin? None

Any other comments? Deck 14 Aft was a great location, there are public decks in the Aft on Decks 14, 12 and 11. Since you have to go to the end of the State Room corridors these areas are virtually unused, The views from Decks 12 and 11 overlook the Aqua Theater so its a great place to hang with a drink and watch the show.

Cabin # - 574

Class – D2

Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central Park, or Boardwalk - Mid-Starboard

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Bath on forward wall; which means if you're laying in bed or sitting on the sofa and look out the balcony, you're going backwards.

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – connecting cabin with 10576; quiet cabin, great location, 2 decks down to Central Park, 4 to the fitness center; able to use stairs to get to most venues quickly.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– Great view of ports on the western voyage.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal; however, we opened up the balcony door between cabins which gave us a good size balcony.

Was wind a problem? The wind whistled through the balcony door if it's not shut and locked into place.

Any specific problems with this cabin? None, our cabin steward, Donna, was awesome!

Any other comments? Lots of storage, bathroom is configured so you don't feel closed in.

Deck - 10

Cabin # - 576

Class – D2

Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central

Park, or Boardwalk - Mid-Starboard

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – balcony on aft wall

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Quiet cabin, connecting with 10574 - door opens into cabin 10574 flat against the wall.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– Great views of ports on western itinerary - no problems with privacy.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal; however, connected to cabin 10574

Was wind a problem? Whistled through balcony door when not closed tight.

Any specific problems with this cabin? NO problems, great room and location.

Any other comments? I would book these connecting cabins again!

Deck - 11

Cabin # - 641

Class – C2

Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central Park, or Boardwalk - Starboard Aft Central Park Balcony

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – near the bathroom

Quiet Cabin – Quiet, rarely heard anything. Could occasionally hear the neighboring cabin possibly through the shower drain(?). Not connecting.

Balcony View - Central Park looks GREAT from your balcony. It's not like having an ocean view, but it's still very nice.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal

Was wind a problem? Not at all!

Any specific problems with this cabin? Nope

Any other comments? The Owner's Suite is right across. The closet can be hard to get to if someone is sleeping on that side. It's tight even if it's not. The attendant's cart is often parked outside. The bed is the most comfortable I've been in on a cruise. There is no cabin above this cabin. It's not there because the pool is above it.

Deck 10

Category B1 (this is a "triple/quad" cabin with a full-sized sofa bed)

Last boardwalk balcony on starboard end of deck 10 (over-looked Aqua Theater)

Bed near closet (this wasn't ideal, but was also NOT a huge problem. It was just a little tight getting stuff from the back end of the closet. We just kept our formal stuff there as we didn't need it often)

For the most part there was no noise problem. When the Aqua show was going on you could definitely hear it, but we enjoyed going on the balcony and watching the show, so it was no issue for us. It was always perfectly quiet after 11:30p.m. nightly.

The view was amazing! I loved it! We could enjoy the boardwalk, the ocean, and the wake, as well as the Aqua Theater shows (there were many activities happening at the Aqua pool throughout the week and we enjoyed them all from our balcony)

The balcony was small, but we managed to have 4 adults seated comfortably for the Aqua show one night.

We always had a nice breeze on the balcony when the ship was in motion.

Overall, I loved this cabin/balcony location and have already booked a similar location on Allure. The cabins themselves are a little smaller than I am accustomed to and we had 3 passengers in ours making it even tighter, but we managed just fine and spent so much time exploring the ship, that we really didn't worry too much about the size of the cabin. Privacy was never an issue either. In fact, we commented that the entire week we only saw 2 of our neighbors from across the boardwalk out on their balconies! there is just so much going on that I don't think folks are hanging out in their cabins on Oasis! And when folks WERE out on their Boardwalk balconies, they were watching the shows....not snooping on us! ;) Come to think of it, I don't think I EVER saw inside any of the cabins across from us. The sheers gave a definite sense of privacy and the black-out curtains totally blocked the light (and probably some of the sound as well)....enough so that we slept-in longer than we ever have before! :D

Deck 10 Starboard

Junior Suite

Mid ship on the hump

Quiet cabin...No noise at all.

Great view of ports on Western route

Balcony size was great. Two chairs/table/and one lounger with plenty of room.

Wind was only heard when the door wasn't closed completely

We loved the room and the location! Although we are "aft" cruisers and missed the wake, we completely enjoyed our first "hump" cabin!

I thought that I entered all my info after my 7/17 sailing, but I don't see it, so here it is:

Oasis cabin information-FOLLOW FORMAT PLEASE - No Questions/Discussion

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Everyone,

With the Oasis about to debut for the public, it would be great if all future cruisers would cooperate so that we can obtain information on as many cabins as possible and get Cruise Critic to make this an official sticky. With a great big thanks to Donna who created this for the Celebrity Solstice class ships, it will be great for people sailing on Oasis or Allure in the future and those wanting to book cabins.

Please add any relevant information that you think would be useful. I will add a post after this one with just the questions that you can "Reply To" and add your information without copying and editing this first post. If we get enough response, I'll try and do a spreadsheet with the information.

Please name your post with the title "Cabin # xxxx" so that those searching for information on a specific cabin can locate those easier with the search this forum option by using the cabin number that they need info on.

After the questions please add any comments concerning location - close to elevators, far from specific venues, etc. Also, post links to your photos of specific cabins or attach photos to the post.

Cabin # - 9542

Class – D4

Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central Park, or Boardwalk -

Bed near?(balcony or bath) –Front Starboard

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – very quiet

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– ocean view, beautiful, no obstruction. Looking forward and up you could see the wing of the bridge.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal size and it was fine. small table and two chairs, we asked for a third chair and our room steward provided one.

Was wind a problem? no

Any specific problems with this cabin? none

Any other comments? this cabin has a sofa bed and a pullman, since there were three of us, we chose to use the pullman for my son and were able to keep the sofa to use. This made it easier to maneuver and allowed us to use the sofa even if he was laying down. We did open the sofa bed one day just to see how it was and it does take up most of the remaining space in the room. Closet space and shelves look deceiving--I was worried but everything fit and there was even some extra space on a couple shelves that we didn't utilize!

Class – D3

Back Starboard

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Very quiet - it is a connecting room

Balcony View - Great view, no obstructions, no privacy issues

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

Was wind a problem? Wind was a problem only the second day, not again

Any specific problems with this cabin? No

Any other comments? This cabin is the second to last. It is a long walk, but worth it for how quiet it is. Two doors down is a large public balcony with deck chairs that no one knows about - from it you can watch all the shows at AquaTheater or just sit there for quiet time. The room was tight only when the couch was made into a bed.

Kelcie,

Thanks for all of your hardwork with this. It was most helpful to me with preplanning and I hope to others as well. Hope you are enjoying your time on the Oasis!

Deck - 9

Cabin # - 9200

Class – D1

Front Starboard, Front Port, Back Starboard, Back Port, Central Park, or Boardwalk - Front Port Side Hump balcony cabin

Bed near?(balcony or bath) –Bed near bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Quiet

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions or privacy was an issue– All around good view with no obstructions of any kind, fairly private if no one else outside. Nice clear glass paneling below rail for a nice view when seated.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Larger hump balcony

Was wind a problem? No problem with wind. Breeze felt only when standing at the rail, not at all while seated.

Any specific problems with this cabin? No, but tight squeeze past bed and also extremely tight squeeze if couch is open/made into bed- but this would be true for all cabins in this category and regardless of bed arrangement. Yes, access to the back portion of the closet was tight with the bed location, but just put formal wear and other less used items in that section and it was not a problem.

Any other comments? Cabin steward was able to bring a lounge chair but was busy and not able to bring it until late in the second day despite making an early request. It really is a shame that the AC is linked to the balcony door being locked because when occupied as a quad, it was really hard to enjoy the balcony guilt free knowing it was at the expense of the remaining occupants inside to sacrifice the AC. As it was, with the late summer heat, the balcony was rarely used to its full potential.
