Summer, MOST of the reviews that have been posted from the Valor have been very positive... there have only been a very few that were negative... you should have a great time!!!!

The ship is beautiful...the shows and food were good. Scarletts was GREAT! :D The tendering cant be helped :confused: The ports were nice...my kids were happy beyond belief...we had a great time! :)

I completely agree with some other members that how you feel about your cruise is 90% up to you. Last winter my hubby and I booked a last minute cruise on the Ecstasy. This was not a great ship, nor a great destination, but we had a great time. (It also helps that we got a really good price for this quickie cruise ;) ). We didn'e even mind the very long embarkation, partially due to our last minute booking. We just said, "The kids aren't here, we're on vacation, who cares." It rained the whole cruise-still had fun. So I expect this next cruise, a longer one, on a better ship, with better destinations, to be even more fun. I'm even smiling right now. :D
