sparkscruiser Posted November 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Glory I am not sure ... but I think the Pride did. I recall viewing my photos off my camera for some reason. I would imagine they all have the AV inputs.
Quampapetet Posted November 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2009 I thought I read that they block them from use? And I think the Carnival Web site says they are incompatible with your own devices. I'm not sure what their reasoning for doing this is, though. Oh, but I think suites and 9C cabins have DVD players in them (from what I read on here). You could always bring a pocket projector and project the movie onto the wall, I guess. Cruise-Crazy Posted November 30, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2009 You may be able to access the AV inputs from the controls on the TV but they do not have the ability to select that source from the remote control.
matj2000 Posted November 30, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2009 I have brought a mini DVD player in the past for the kids. It worked on a couple cruises and didn't on the others. The reason it wouldn't work because the remote didn't have an imput selection like the previous poster said. Some of the new sets do. It doesn't depend on the ship, just what ever model TV is in you cabin. I would bring it anyway and try. Also its hard to access the jacks if they are on the back of the set.
