Formal Nights on Silversea

We are sailing with SS in March 2010, and wondering if they have formal nights when I can get the chance to wear my tux?

Second, fyi, took this clothing guidance from the SS website:

 

Sailings of eight days or less typically feature two formal nights, whilst longer voyages usually have three or four formal nights. Details will be provided in the Port and Shore Excursion booklet in your final cruise documents.

Bring your tux and a couple shirts. You will get a chance to wear it. We just completed a 10 day cruise and there were 3 formal nights. Enjoy and welcome.:)

We, too, will be sailing March 2010 for the first time with Silverseas. We enjoy "formal" and are trying Silverseas after a long history with Regent. The recent dress code changes with Regent have us looking for other options. We are looking forward to our first Silverseas sailing, and hope to enjoy future voyages.

My husband and I were really looking forward to our two formal nights on our 7-day September cruise on the Whisper - we took way too many 'formal' clothes. It turned out we only had one formal night which was a bit disappointing but it didn't stop us dressing up for the other nights (and we didn't look or feel out of place). Enjoy!
