Can anyone tell me if there is a USB port hookup on the computers in the internet cafe? I want to be able to save my pictures to my external hard drive thought-out the trip to free up space on my memory cards.

Iv heard some have USB ports, but personally never found one that was usuable. They block them so that you cant download something onto the hard drive of the internet computer. I dont think you will be able to use the USB ports in the computer.

 

They do have stations where you can download your pictures. I saw the new station on Triumph a week ago. Princess has them. There are threads explaining how they work. They arent free.

 

there are things you can buy to enable you to download pictures other than taking a bulky laptop.

I have never seen a USB port on any of the machines, or more correctly terminals, on the ships I've sailed on.

As cheap as memory cards are now I'd just purchase a few spares. I use 8 and 16 gig cards and pretty much never get to capacity...
