Mahongany Bay - Belize

I believe Carnival docks at the new Mahongany Bay in Belize. Can anyone confirm this?

 

Also, If anyone has been there can you tell me a little about it, I'm curious as we are going in February.

I just stepped off the Carnival Valor on Sunday and we docked at Mahogany. It is my understanding that all Carnival ships are docking here...but I admit I am not 100% sure. Mahogany pier was very nice...many shops there and its very clean. There is also a large circular bar right in the middle...since we got back from our tour earlier than expected, we sat there for about an hour and ordered a couple of those yard-long rum drinks...it was fun and relaxing. We sat and watched the chair lift run back and forth between right there and the beach next door.

BUT WAIT...I just realized you asked about Mahogany Pier in Belize?! :confused: The new pier is in ROATAN!

Your right, I meant Roatan, not Belize. Am still looking for more comments if anyone has some. Thank you.

We were there last week on the Dream. Nice port, great facilities, free beach, great atmosphere. Best port of the whole cruise. Incredible views.
