Taxis at port, Miami?

What about from the airport to the pier? Would it still be $24 or is there ferry? If so how much is that?

Thanks in advance

Miami taxi rates are based by zone to zone - so yes, $24 from airport to port. There are also taxis lined up when you walk out the building. I guess how many depends if you're first or last off of the boat. Unlike a shuttle, taxi rates are based on the cab, not the number of passengers.

We took an airport shuttle last year and the dispatcher at the port told us the driver would drop us off at the AVIS car rental lot. The driver, however, wanted to drop us off at the terminal and make us wait for the AVIS shuttle. I argued with him and he finally took us to AVIS's lot, but dropped us at the street and we had to drag our luggage into the lot. So, if you're going to the airport to rent a car, remember that the shuttles are concerned with filling seats, not delivering on promises.
