Urgent help needed, will be there Jan. 22!

I posted earlier and only got one response. We are a group interested in a private excursion to stingray sand bar and possibly to star fish beach, not the reefs. We are not experienced snorkelers. Have contacted stingray sailings, and about 4 of the other most popular ones that people talk about but they can not take us privately. We would also take a tour of the island and stingray sandbar. Someone suggested Nativeways and it looks like they would be a possibility but I have not been able to contact them. Can anyone help, time is running out. We really want to just have a 2-3 hr. tour of the sandbar and possibly a sightseeing boatride, starfish beach, or island tour. Thanks

Nativeway may be booked up at this point...they're one of the most popular private companies, so they fill up fast.

 

You may be better off, depending on the size of your group and how many ships are in port that day, just booking something on the pier when you get there. There are a ton of smaller companies that will be selling spots, or you may be able to arrange a custom snorkel outing. Starfish Beach is only a few minutes boat ride from Stingray City, so that's an easy combination. Then, when you get back from the boat portion, just talk to the driver or a taxi near the pier and arrange a short island tour separately. Lots of the taxi drivers will do an island tour, and depending on what you want to see it may be just as good as something prearranged...

Might also check into Moby Dick Tours (Google them). Another very good independent tour operator, with excursions to Stingray City.

i was going to suggest as well, finding someone right off the pier. there are many tour operators just waiting.
