Casino - cash or sail & sign card

You can use cash or Sail and Sign Card.

If you go to the cashier or a table to get money off of your S&S they will charge you 3%. You can add money to your player's bank from your S&S via the slot machines then take the card to the cashier and "cash out" your player's bank and there is no charge. That is the easiest and cheapest way if you want to use your S&S to fund your gambling.

I use cash for my Sail and Sign so on the last night I will go to the casino and put any remaining money from my sail and sign into my players bank and cash out that way I don't have to stand in line on debarkation day to get my refund check cashed.

You can use your sign and sail card but there's a 3% service charge. We always used cash.

NOT QUITE TRUE.....you can use your S&S card at the slot machine and there is NO CHARGE. The money is charged to your S&S account and tranferred to your "players bank". The system is entirely paperless with no coin payouts. You transfer any winnings or balance back to your "players bank" on your S&S card when you wish to change machines or leave the casino.

Now if you are using your S&S card to get chips to play the tables, there is a 3% transaction fee but that is not what the person asked.

So you can put cash in, but only get a paper payout slip? What denominations of coins do the slots take,,if they take coins.

Not sure if they still take coins or not, I know you can use cash or S&S. As far as payouts go...there is nothing physically given out by the machines. They are all "electronic" payouts, meaning your balance is placed on your player's bank then you can go to the cashier for a cash out. Just don't forget to do that before the last night because they can't do this at the purser's desk or after the cruise so anything left on the card after the last night is gone

They dont take coins.....paper money only. Also they do not do the paper payout slip. You transfer any remaining funds to your "players bank" on your S&S card. To truely cash out, you take your S&S card to the cashier and they will close out the players bank and give you the funds.

From reading this thread, I see that Carnival slots operate a bit differently. Could someone please clarify the "Player's Bank" matter? I understand that any winnings go into said bank, as opposed to a paper printout. Can you go to the cashier's window to cash out your bank whenever you choose? Maybe even a few times in the course of an evening? (Assuming, of couse, that luck falls your way.) I'm kind of getting the impression that you can only do so at the end of a cruise ... that would not make me happy.

Thanks

You can cash out anytime you please. You set up a casino account on your ss card thru the slot machines. This is so everything is in one place and you don't have to keep putting money in the machine. You can go to the cashier and cash out any time you wish.
