Please let me know how Celebrity handles a price reduction after final payment is made. Is there an onboard credit given?

PS The Equinox March 19th CC1 cat had a $60 price reduction with an Illinois residency rate.

We got an OBC when we had a price reduction last Nov. So all you need to do is call Celebrity or your TA and tell them you found a price reduction. Congratulations!!

Thanks for the help. I contacted our travel agent and was told we would have an onboard credit in the amount of the price reduction. That was great news.

We moved to a better cabin for a lower price and got the money back in $200 OBC.

My TA just got us a resident rate on our fully paid cruise, we got an extra $480 OBC Whoo hooo!

OBC will be given after final payment, or you can upgrade to a higher category cabin with the difference. I was lucky enough to snag a price drop for a cruise last November and got over $300 OBC - it was wonderful!
