TXHillbillyGirl Posted February 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2010 My husband loves Texas Hold 'Em. Will there be a tournament on a 4 day cruise. What is your opinion of poker tournaments? What is the buy in if there are tournaments? Any info would be helpful.

TXHillbillyGirl Posted February 8, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted February 8, 2010 Does anyone else have a say about Poker (Texas Hold Em) on the Ecstasy? Tournaments? Slots or Poker. Thanks
FoolishMe Posted February 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2010 Last March... there was a Texas hold 'em tournament. They use a table and not a live deal. We watched several people play and them seemed to enjoy it tremendously. They also had slot and blackjack tournaments as well. I think the blackjack tournaments are a lot of fun. They were offering a buy 1 get 1 when we were there - so I got two tries at the blackjack.

TXHillbillyGirl Posted March 8, 2010 Author #10 Share Posted March 8, 2010 Anyone recently off the Ecstasy and know anything about Texas Hold 'Em Tournaments on a 4 day cruise?
summergal Posted March 9, 2010 #11 Share Posted March 9, 2010 No experience but wanted to add that with the 5 day they do have the tournament. I wonder what would make them not have it on the 4 day. Try to do a search for Capers on the Ecstacy for the 4 day cruise and just read to see if they do have them. I don't remember what the buy in was on our last cruise on the Ecstacy but it was something like 75.00. I just remember seeing it in the Capers and making special note for my dh who loves T' hold em. I'll go and see what my June 2009 Capers say if I can locate them.
summergal Posted March 9, 2010 #12 Share Posted March 9, 2010 I found my 5 day Capers and it says 100.00 buy in.
TXHillbillyGirl Posted March 9, 2010 Author #13 Share Posted March 9, 2010 All of the capers I've seen were from over a year back and I wan't sure they would be doing the same things now. Thanks for the info. I wouldn't think a 4 day would be any differnt than a 5 day. At least he has an idea now.
