minner80 Posted February 15, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted February 15, 2010 It appears that there may be a walkway outside the window. Can people walk outside your cabin?
firefly333 Posted February 15, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2010 You said family cabins, so Im assuming you mean the ones on the sides of the ship? There are some obstructed cabins that face forward, maybe you were asking about those?? There is a wall in front of them and yes, people can walk in front of them. There is film on the window so during the day time people cant really see in, unless you turn on a light and backlight yourself. Maybe give us a cabin number so we are sure which ones you are asking about. Carnival changed the categories so many times, twice last year, its hard to be sure without looking up the deck ... and I follow the changes, and still hard to keep up. If its the ones facing forward, yep people can walk in front of your cabin and nope the view is barely one where you can see the water.
firefly333 Posted February 15, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2010 OK I looked and dont see those forward obstructed view cabins on spa deck, only see 6J cabins listed as balconys (they are in the process of being converted??), because 6s are ocean views, ... so they are in between being converted?? They look like the pictures above and no one can walk outside your cabin.
minner80 Posted February 15, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted February 15, 2010 I am looking at stateroom 1102 on the Liberty. It is the first cabin on the port side next to the steam room.
PegNRay Posted February 15, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2010 I am looking at stateroom 1102 on the Liberty. It is the first cabin on the port side next to the steam room. The 6e's became 6j's and now are being converted to balcony cabins. They are now called 8f's after conversion.
