I keep reading comments about threads about grand cruises, but can find nothing titled "GC." How can I find info in CC about these? TIA:confused:

I wonder if you are thinking about the Grand Voyages that are offered by Holland America Line. If so, check out the HAL Board or the web site for HAL.

HAL (HollandAmerica) calls their long distance/days cruise Grand Voyages. Two of their ships are designed more for covering long distances rather than 4/7 days cruises frome here and back.

Go to the Holland America web site and you’ll find a link to an electronic brochure for the Grand Voyages for 2010 and another one for 2011.

Actually, it is three ships - the Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Prinsendam. The only HAL ships that don't do well for the longer type cruises are the Vista class ships and new Signature class ones.
