newcruiser80 Posted February 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Trying to set aside the right amount of cash for my upcoming cruise. Two of us are taking the Creole Cruises out of Antigua for the Lobster Lunch. I would like a recommendation on how much to tip for the Lobster Lunch, and how many guides usually come on the trip. I've found after 3 cruises that I bring only a $20 bill lets say and come to find out that there are three people that really should be tipped. Any thoughts? cb at sea Posted February 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Tipping excursion folks--there's no "set" amount....if they give you a really GREAT time, tip what it's worth to you. If you get just what you paid for, no tip is needed. You can always hand over the $20, and tell them to split it..... Personally, I think $10 extra per person is fine.... Host Faith Posted February 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Hi there! You chose a great excursion. Glenn and Mario are the two guides on the cruise. You can tip as you deem appropriate for the two guides, you are going to have a great time!
