Cost of wine in supermarkets?

Hi, was going to stop at the Pueblo before our cruise to purchase some bottles of wine. We like Ziffandel and was wondering if anyone remembers what brands they might carry and their prices? Looking for Sutter Home, Berringer or Woodbridge.

Most brands come from Argentina, Spain and Chile, in Puerto Rico you will not find too many California brands like you do in the US, Puerto Ricans buy more south american and european brands. an example of prices: a bottle of Los Andes (ziffandel- argentina) 750ml for 5.50, Castillero del Diablo (chile) 750ml for 7.50, Campo Viejo (Spain) 750ml for 12.00

All of the three brands you mentioned are available at Pueblo and other supermarkets.. Sutter Home is available practically everywhere (form supermarkets to liquor stores and some gas stations. There are also Ernest & Julio Gallo and Beringer... and so on!

Since I was the OP that asked this question, I thought I'd let you know that we did stop at the Pueblo on the way from the airport. We were able to find Woodbridge Ziffandel there for $10.

I don't know about specific wines, but there was a grocery store in OSJ that we stopped at and bought a couple bottles of wine for our cruise. Overall I though prices were very cheap.

A few years ago there was a Peublo around the Condado area - I heard its a new name now - but is it still there. We will be at the Caribe Hilton. Anyone know what's close by there? Thanks.
