Shore Excurtions

We are travelling on Legend of the Seas Feb 20, 2005. Is it wise to book shore excursions before departure or will it be OK by waiting till on board. Shore excurtion shopping cart on the RCL web site does not seem to work.

 

We cruised Carnival Conquest last year and there was no disappointment by waiting and booking on board. What do you think?

Oops...maybe I should have included that the cruise is 14 day westbound Panama.

Alan, if there is an excursion you have your hearts set on, I suggest booking it now. That way you don't have to wait in lines and risk the chance of being disappointed.

I, too, had trouble with the shore excursion website. I tried everyday, and finally, after 2 weeks of trying, I got it to work! Haven't been able to look at it since then, though. To book shore excursions, you might want to go ahead and call RCI. Good luck:)
