Grand - BB or BD - What difference?

I booked a balcony guarantee BD and have just been allocated a BB. On some cruises the BB is cheaper than the BD. Simply, is a BB cabin inferior to a BD or not?

Which deck are you on?

If it is C deck the balconies are a good bit larger.

In the brochures BB is always more expensive than BD

We booked at BD (Baja) on the Crown and Princess changed it (upgraded they said) to BC on the Aloha deck. It was midship (BD) and now we are more aft. Is that good?

Caber, yes, I've ended up on C deck so, if the balcony is larger, I am well happy. Thanks for your input.

It is neither good nor bad in my opinion. If given a choice I would choose aft over forward. Midship is less likely to have movement.

 

Think of it this way, go up one stair and walk to the back, through the door and you are at the terrace pool. It is a wonderful place to sit in my opinion.
