Mariner of the Seas 9th floor question

Does anyone know what the space between 9601 and 9597 is? Deciding between 9601 and 9603. Booking our first non-balcony/JS cruise (in honor of current economic times) and thought it might be quieter if it is just an empty space next to us instead of another cabin as long as it is not a stairwell or staff elevator.

Take 9603...there's no use in wondering what the "noise" level will be....that space is storage...who knows if it will be noisy...you could have "heavy handed " folks storing stuff..

Put a cabin between you and possible noise.
