NCL Owner's Suite 1/29/2005

I would like to take a second and thank everyone for there help with my sometimes ridiculous questions. I have been planning our cruise for the last 6 months and just want everything to go off without a hitch.

 

We are sailing the SUN this weekend and it will be my first time with a suite (owner's suite) and an ajoining stateroom. We are so excited and cant wait for the week ahead. We are heading to Miami for a couple of nights of pre-cruise fun to get our minds in 'cruise mode'.

 

Once again, just wanted to thank all of the posters for their help on the boards. I will be sure to give a detail post with ample photos of the suite and our private tours when i return.

We'll in the NCL owner's suite our May 8/05 Alaska cruise and can't wait!

 

Looking forward to any info and tips - good or bad - you'd be willing to offer! Did you find the balcony too windy to use when the ship was sailing? Is the railing facing forward solid iron and not plexi (see-thru) as some others have posted? How did you find the ship's movement?

 

Was the butler service extrordinary? Hopefully you still felt you had some privacy.

- What'd you think of your 800+ personal sqft?

- Was the private hottub awesome? (Any noise from the deck above?)

- How was your butler service?

- Any tricks or tips to share re: in-suite bar? perks?

- Did you have an in-room party?

- How did freestyle work for you?
