Celebrity wins over Crystal!

My sister just returned from a 9 night Crystal cruise, where she had a really great time. However, one of her first remarks when talking with me was that she thought Celebrity's food was superior and service was equal. Since I've never been on a Crystal cruise, I thought it was very interesting how unimpressed my sister was...and she's not a picky person.

This is very interesting to hear. We've been on Celebrity twice and while food was "okay" it was overall pretty unimpressive, and we wonder what all the raves are about. We will be taking our first Crystal cruise this summer, so we will be able to compare for ourselves, but other people we know who have sailed both say they like the food on Crystal better. Of course, some of this is highly subjective and people's personal tastes vary widely. As we've see also, there can be a good amount of variation in food quality from one cruise to another, even on the same line.
