Question about Pearl Specialty Dining

On most cruises, you order whatever you want off the menu, so that you can try more than a few items, so on the Pearl, in the Specialty Resturaunts, is it the same?

In the specialty restaurants you can order one main course , multiple starters / deserts.

At the Lotus Garden Asian Fusion we did ask for a main dish each and then one to share. They hedged then said okay. It really was too much to eat and I was sorry I asked for it. They really work hard at not having excess wastage.

From what I understand, even after paying the "surcharge" to eat in the Specialty Restaurant, there are some items on the menu that are an additional charge. And, if you ordered more than one of those items, you would be charged accordingly.

Lobster in Cagney's is one of those items you pay additional over the surcharge.

 

I think it was an additonal 10.00 over the 25.00
