Cape Liberty Question

I am taking a shuttle from Philadelphia to and from the port. I was just told that the return pick up won't be until between noon and 1:00 p.m. (I guess it's after they drop new passengers off) Is there anything to do at the port? Is there at least a comfortable waiting area? Thanks

There's really nothing to do at the port except go see the 911 monument. However, you'd have to figure out what to do with your luggage. As I recall there's not really any kind of waiting area except some outside benches along the building under the tent. At least it should be warm weather. Last winter we arrived in a snow storm and I had to beg the folks at the embarkation area to let my 91 year old mother wait just inside the door while I got the car dug out.

Thanks. I'm going to have to find another way - there's no way I'm going to wait over 4 hours. And while it should be warm, it could also be raining.

To Philly, I'd jump on a train.
