bazzaw Posted May 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2010 I saw a daily newspaper from the Oriana , posted to a website a few years ago. It seemed to indicate that P&O stock British ales/bitters onboard , including draught bitter on tap. Just wondering how they keep themselves supplied on a LONG voyage?? Hoping that Oriana has not run out by the time she reaches Sydney on this years World Cruise , necessitating resupply by Fosters lager :eek:!!! YUK! Thejuggler Posted May 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2010 Obviously the ship's storage areas can only hold so much food and drink and the ship has to be restocked. For a very long voyage container loads of supplies are sent by ship from the UK to various ports of call and the ship is then restocked. The logistics around cruise ships on World trips could make a TV series in itself.
