Glory room guestion

What deck is you 1A going to be on?? If you luck out and get one on the higher decks you got a heck of a price for the voyage. I have heard some folks didn't notice any noise when they booked those rooms. Do a search for Cabin Noises on here you might come up with a few threads pertaining to this question..have great cruise!!

You can pick up noise from two places - activity in the halls, or from the ship itself.

It's a tricky combination on lower decks. You want to avoid being real

close to the stairs and elevators where people wait and talk (or shout),

and avoid high traffic patterns, which includes everyone heading to

dinner past the mid cabins toward the aft stairs.

But too far forward and you get noise/pounding from the bow hitting

the waves, too far aft you get the engine noise. If on the deck below

the disco you might pick up sound system vibrations near the disco.

For least noise, I recommend get as far up as you can, and as far forward

on an upper deck. If on a lower deck, I would recommend a mid cabin

between the forward and mid elevator/stairs.
