bazzaw Posted May 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2010 Later this year, my wife and I will be doing a "kind of" World Tour. Australia to UK on Oriana and return on Arcadia. Being on these ships for a total of 3 months and, for the first time while cruising, needing larger amounts of clothing for other reasons (going from summer to winter and back to summer :p) and the increased "formality" of P&O UK ships, we are going to need more clothing/luggage than when we usually travel. This would not be such of a problem - EXCEPT that we will be having 19 days in the UK between cruises and will be going to London. We won't really need 2/3 of the clothing when in London, so am wondering if there is any way we could store luggage in Southampton between cruises. Any thoughts please? Thanks Barry
Thejuggler Posted May 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2010 I'm sure Southampton will have a "safestore" or similar. They do quite small units from about 10sq ft - ideal for luggage.
terry99 Posted May 20, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Hi Barry There are a couple of options on the 'visit southampton' website which you may like to follow up. Here is the link - you want Question 10. http://www.visit-southampton.co.uk/site/cruise-passenger-and-crew-information/frequently-asked-questions The storage companies quoted are flexible with storage times and will keep your items for as long as you wish. Good luck!! Terry
