We were having dinner in Seattle last Friday and the Infinity came in to their pier early evening and was leaving again at midnight. Does any one know what happened. This seems very unusual.......Thanks

I don't know how to go back on the website to find out BUT... Could that have been the first cruise out of Seattle for this year?? In years past they ended a cruise in Vancouver and then hightailed it to Seattle for their real start of the season. A PSV Act get around coming from the south on repo. ?

This was AS SCHEDULED for that trip. The Infinity dropped the repo cruise passengers off in Vancouver. This was indeed the first sailing for the Alaska Season out of Seattle. Thankfully nothing wrong with the ship. ;)

We just got off the Radiance in Vancouver last Friday (May 21). The Infinity followed us to most of the ports of call we visited in Alaska.

She arrived in Vancouver on Friday at Canada Place at the same time as the Radiance. In fact she docked only moments before we did.

Seems stranged she would be in Seattle that same day.

There you go your answer for sure.

This short day (late start) out of Seattle usually created a thread or two on the forum with folks complaining about losing cruise time and having to wait around all day at the dock in Seattle but I guess since it's happened three yrs in a row now everyone has it figured out as I didn't see anyone complaining this year. :)

Strange as it seems, the Infinity repo cruise is the only one that stops in Vancouver. It is a different itinerary than the rest of the Alaska season... drop off passengers in the a.m. in Vancouver... cruise to Seattle. Pick up passengers at night in Seattle. (I think the last boarding time is 10p.m. for the first cruise out of Seattle) It is strange, but that is how Celebrity does it.

Hope you had fun on your AK cruise. :)
