Apartments in Rome

As I posted on the Ports of Call Board:

 

Has anyone had any experience in staying at apartments whilst in Rome? Are there any hidden prices or dangers to doing this? I just received a great price on one and am wondering "if it seems too good to be true.....".

 

Any comments would be appreciated.

Just wanted everyone to know that this was a really great find. 3 nights for only 480 Euros. If anyone needs info, let me know!

What apartment is it?

I have stayed right beside the Spanish Steps at Domus International....booked on the www.slowtrav.com site through the Venere click thru. Liked it alot.

It's the Gallo apartments. I booked thru comfortitalia(?SP). Others on our cruise are also booking apartments. It seems to be the best price, especially for those travelling solo. You can put 5 or more people in these things!
